October is here, and after taking a recent tropical vacation with my husband, I’m ready for autumn. Unfortunately, the weather in my area hasn’t received the memo that it’s fall! Though I will have to delay wearing sweaters, scarves, and boots, I’m welcoming the season in other ways. I put away all my summer-scented candles and brought out the fall ones, and I’m using different oils in my diffusers. I will most likely be drinking more hot tea- chai, pumpkin spice, and velvet- and preparing more soups. Speaking of soup, I created my fall dinner queue last week. I got the idea a few years ago from The Lazy Genius, and it sure helps make meal planning easier. My meals for autumn include a list of crockpot recipes, oven dishes, soups, and skillet dinners. Do you make seasonal dinner queues?
Recently, after listening to A Soul Minimalist’s Guide to Autumn, I jotted down answers to her prompts and shared them with my husband. From there, we drafted a fall goals/wish list. We want to be intentional about making lasting memories this season. P.S. See below the article about a simple way to make more memories.
Settle in with a cozy throw, grab a warm drink, and enjoy this month’s offering. As always, I hope you can find something encouraging and helpful here.

THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS:
~ These plastic pouches. I used them to hold my electronic cords, makeup, masks, and snacks in my carry-on luggage when traveling. I also keep one with masks and hand sanitizer in my work bag.
~ This wool and cashmere spray. I spray it on sweaters and scarves before storing them and use it in between washes.
~ I’ve been singing the praises of Rachel’s Plan Bee products for a long while, and I’m so thankful for the gift bag of RPB products I received from a dear friend for my birthday. I brought the Bee Cream along on my vacation, and it was perfect for slathering on after spending all day long in the sun.
