Well, hello there 🥰 It’s been FIVE months since our last virtual coffee date, so I thought it would be fun to do another one. While we can’t actually meet for coffee, we can pretend this is a little coffee/tea date. Since most of us are still having to practice social distancing, our next best thing is a brief virtual chat. COFFEE DATE CHATTING This writing space has been quieter than it used to be, mostly due to working through grief, finding headspace to write, and of course, the global pandemic. I certainly miss being here, sharing with you, and keeping in touch. I realized this morning that I began this blog ... View Post
A Midsummer Catch Up
HELLO THERE HAPPY WEEKEND! Hi there! How is it already the end of July? Where did June and July even go? It's been a while since I posted, so I thought I would do a midsummer catch up. I think most people would agree that summer this year feels so different while amid a global pandemic. California is still under a bit of lockdown as COVID cases continue to rise; therefore, I'm staying home more than usual. My days look like taking socially distanced walks with friends at the beach or in my neighborhood, lots of reading outdoors, tons of family time, weekend hikes, game nights, and Face Timing with friends. How about you? What has your summer looked like so far? *This post contains some affiliate links which means I may earn a tiny commission when you purchase something I linked. You ... View Post
Peace and Promises
HELLO THERE HAPPY WEEKEND! Hi there. It's been a while, hasn't it? I haven't written much here for the last few months and decided to touch base with you. While there is peace in knowing my mom is in Heaven and we will be reunited one day, I miss her terribly. Slowly, I am emerging from the fog of grief and taking life one day (sometimes one hour) at a time. Many of us are currently experiencing loss in one form or another. You may not be grieving the death of a loved one, but feeling heartache over a canceled celebration, a rescheduled vacation, things in the news, unemployment, or the huge change life has taken due to a worldwide pandemic. Because it's such a ... View Post

Let’s Meet for Coffee- a virtual chat
Well, hello there. It's been a while since you've heard from me, and I've missed you! While we can't actually meet for coffee ☕️, we can pretend this is a little coffee/tea date. Since all of us are practicing social distancing, our next best thing is a brief virtual chat ☺️ How are you??? *This post contains some affiliate links which means I may earn a tiny commission when you purchase something I linked. I figured that since we are now all in the same boat of sheltering in place, we could share what's bringing joy (big or small) into our lives. If we were sitting across one another having coffee, what would you tell me is making your days manageable? Here is my ... View Post
