Dinner with strangers

Somehow, it’s almost mid-March, and this weekend we will be springing our clocks forward. I’m excited to share this month’s offerings, including the time I had dinner with strangers while in Paris, a sweet essay on friendship, and some new favorites.
Each month, I send out a much longer version of links and loves. The emails always include recipes and recommendations for random things like clothes, skincare, makeup, books, and such. It’s much more personal and is the place where I share more private topics with my readers. If you would like to receive that, you may sign up here. At the end of each month, you’ll find it waiting for you in your inbox. It’s typically loaded full of so many good things!
Good Reads for You
About five years ago, my husband, our oldest, and I had dinner with strangers. We were in Paris and decided to experience something we’d never done before. I had previously researched unusual things to do and saw recommendations for dinner at Jim’s. The more I read about it, the more intrigued I was. I asked my husband and daughter if they would be interested in doing something different on this trip (we’d been to Paris together before.) They both said yes, so after emailing Jim, our dinner date was set. That meal with about 40 others (guests from all over the world) ended up being one of the most memorable things I’ve ever done 🌟
