HELLO THERE HAPPY WEEKEND!
Hi there. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I haven’t written much here for the last few months and decided to touch base with you. Sadly, my mom passed away almost four weeks ago. As you can imagine, my life feels a bit upside down (and sideways, too). While there is peace in knowing my mom is in Heaven and we will be reunited one day, I miss her terribly. Slowly, I am emerging from the fog of grief and taking life one day (sometimes one hour) at a time.
Many of us are currently experiencing loss in one form or another. You may not be grieving the death of a loved one, but feeling heartache over a canceled celebration, a rescheduled vacation, things in the news, unemployment, or the huge change life has taken due to a worldwide pandemic. Because it’s such a fragile time for many of us, why not take the opportunity to offer an extra measure of kindness to others? Let’s try to be more gentle with people and ourselves ♥️ That’s my goal. Are you with me?
